  1. Lead the development and delivery of identity solutions for Atlassian.
  2. Manage the overall program strategy, including defining project goals and objectives.
  3. Oversee and coordinate the work of the Identity team, ensuring efficient and effective collaboration.
  4. Drive the execution of the program, closely monitoring progress and addressing any issues or roadblocks.
  5. Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  6. Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  7. Identify and mitigate risks and escalate issues as needed.
  8. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in identity management.
  10. Communicate with cross-functional teams to align on project priorities and deliverables.
  11. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
  12. Review and approve project deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with project goals.
  13. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors.
  14. Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers and team members.
  15. Continuously track and report on program performance metrics.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Managing Complex Technical Programs: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large And Complex Technical Programs, Preferably In The Identity And Access Management Space. This Includes Experience In Planning, Budgeting, And Executing Programs On Time And Within Budget.

  • Strong Technical Background: As A Principal Technical Program Manager For Identity At Atlassian, The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Identity And Access Management Technologies, Standards, And Best Practices. This Includes Experience With Sso, Oauth, Openid Connect, And Other Relevant Protocols And Technologies.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills: The Role Of A Principal Technical Program Manager Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Technical Professionals. The Candidate Should Also Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Proven Experience In Driving Innovation And Process Improvement: Atlassian Is Known For Its Innovative And Agile Approach To Software Development. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Driving Innovation And Process Improvement Initiatives In Previous Roles. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Agile Methodologies And Experience In Implementing Them.

  • Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Priorities: The Principal Technical Program Manager For Identity At Atlassian Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously. The Candidate Should Have Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Stakeholders' Expectations. They Should Also Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Adapt To Changing Priorities.
