  1. Ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations at all levels of the organization.
  2. Develop and implement privacy policies and procedures in line with current laws and industry best practices.
  3. Advise and guide internal teams on privacy-related matters, including data protection, data sharing, and data retention.
  4. Stay up-to-date on changes in privacy laws and regulations and provide proactive advice to the company on potential impacts.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure privacy considerations are integrated into product development and business operations.
  6. Conduct privacy impact assessments and audits to identify and address potential privacy risks.
  7. Manage privacy-related incidents and breaches, including conducting investigations and reporting to relevant authorities.
  8. Provide strategic guidance and support to the company's leadership team on privacy matters.
  9. Develop and deliver privacy training and education programs for employees.
  10. Manage relationships with external legal counsel and privacy regulators.
  11. Monitor and assess emerging privacy trends and developments and make recommendations for adapting company policies and strategies.
  12. Lead and mentor a team of privacy professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  13. Represent the company in privacy-related legal proceedings and negotiations.
  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to privacy compliance and activities.
  15. Continuously improve and optimize the company's privacy program to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Admitted To Practice Law In At Least One State In The United States.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In A Law Firm Or In-House Legal Department, With A Focus On Privacy And Data Protection.

  • Expertise In Global Privacy Laws And Regulations, Including Gdpr, Ccpa, And Other Relevant Data Privacy Laws.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Leadership On Privacy Matters.
