Job Description

As a Security Control Assessor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our network and systems are protected from potential cyber threats. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual with a strong background in information security and risk management.   1. Conduct regular risk assessments of AT&T's network and systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  2. Develop and implement security controls and measures to mitigate identified risks.
  3. Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
  4. Keep up-to-date with the latest security threats and industry best practices to continuously improve AT&T's security posture.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security controls are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
  6. Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security and risk management.
  7. Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in AT&T's systems and infrastructure.
  8. Prepare and present reports on security assessments, incidents, and vulnerabilities to senior management.
  9. Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert on information security and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  11. Participate in incident response activities and provide technical expertise in resolving security incidents.
  12. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  13. Continuously evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance AT&T's security posture.
  14. Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with security requirements.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security processes, procedures, and controls.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Security Control Assessment Methodologies And Frameworks, Such As Nist And Iso.

  • Experience Conducting Security Control Assessments And Audits In A Large Corporate Environment.

  • Familiarity With Risk Management Principles And The Ability To Identify And Prioritize Potential Security Risks.

  • Strong Understanding Of Network And System Security, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Encryption Methods.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
