Job Description

As a RAN Design Engineer, you’ll oversee the design engineering for our Radio Access Network (RAN) as well as Radio Frequency (RF) engineering. Analyze, design, and optimize wireless network to drive improvements in functionality, performance, and efficiency. Create design plans for network expansion and/or modification, may assist Engineers/Sr Engineers with creating design plans. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure engineering designs are implemented as intended and that quality issues are resolved in a timely manner. Test, collect and analyze data and modify it, as needed. This may include GIS (Geographic Information Systems) activities involving the analysis of RAN data to create design plans to improve all key indexes and performance indicators. Present to leadership on research and trials.

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in network design, network planning or network analysis or related experience

  • Interest in working with and understanding network data

  • Ability to access data/KPIs via SQL and experience working with a scripting language like Python desired

Compensation
