Job Description

At AT&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Performance Test Architect to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Performance Test Architect, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and scalability of our systems and applications. You will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of performance engineers, while utilizing your expertise to design and execute performance testing strategies.   1. Develop and implement performance testing strategies for AT&T's systems and applications.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of performance engineers to ensure high-quality and efficient performance testing.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance requirements and develop testing plans.
  4. Design and execute performance tests to identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and other performance-related problems.
  5. Analyze and interpret performance test results to provide recommendations for system improvements.
  6. Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of AT&T's systems and applications.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in performance testing and make recommendations for implementation.
  8. Communicate performance testing progress and results to stakeholders and provide regular updates.
  9. Identify and troubleshoot issues in performance testing environments and provide timely resolutions.
  10. Develop and maintain performance testing documentation, including test plans, reports, and metrics.
  11. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure performance issues are addressed in the development cycle.
  12. Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline performance testing processes.
  13. Drive continuous improvement in performance testing processes and methodologies.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on performance testing tools and technologies.
  15. Consistently meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality performance testing solutions.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Performance Testing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background And Proven Track Record In Performance Testing, With At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In This Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Testing Methodologies: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Various Testing Methodologies, Including Load, Stress, Endurance, And Capacity Testing.

  • Expertise In Performance Testing Tools: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Proficiency In Using Industry Standard Performance Testing Tools Such As Jmeter, Loadrunner, And Gatling.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Lead Performance Test Architect, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Manage A Team Of Performance Testers Effectively. They Should Also Have Excellent Project Management Skills To Ensure Timely And Successful Completion Of Testing Projects.

  • Knowledge Of Telecommunication Systems: At&T Is A Telecommunications Company, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Telecommunication Systems And Be Able To Apply Their Knowledge To Performance Testing In This Specific Industry.
