Job Description

Welcome to Azusa Pacific University's Orange County Regional Campus! We are currently seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team as the Director of our Orange County campus. As the Director, you will have the opportunity to lead and oversee all aspects of our regional campus, including academic programs, student services, and community partnerships. We are looking for a passionate and motivated leader who is committed to the mission and values of APU.   1. Oversee all operations and activities of APU's Orange County Regional Campus.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve campus goals and objectives.
  3. Lead and manage a team of faculty and staff to ensure the campus runs smoothly and efficiently.
  4. Foster a positive and inclusive campus culture that aligns with APU's mission and values.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate with academic departments to design and implement high-quality academic programs.
  7. Develop and manage the campus budget, ensuring financial stability and responsible use of resources.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accrediting bodies.
  9. Oversee student services and support initiatives to promote student success and retention.
  10. Serve as a spokesperson and representative for the campus, both internally and externally.
  11. Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and expansion of the campus.
  12. Maintain a strong understanding of trends and developments in higher education, and incorporate them into campus operations.
  13. Develop and maintain effective communication channels with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
  14. Promote a diverse and inclusive campus environment that values and celebrates individual differences.
  15. Participate in university-wide initiatives and committees to support the overall mission and goals of APU.
  16. Evaluate and assess campus programs and services to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  17. Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into campus operations.
  18. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development for faculty and staff.
  19. Collaborate with other APU regional campuses to share resources and best practices.
  20. Uphold and promote APU's Christian beliefs, values, and principles.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role At A Higher Education Institution.

  • Proven Ability To Develop And Implement Strategic Plans, Manage Budgets, And Build Partnerships.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Orange County Community And Its Unique Higher Education Landscape.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With Experience In Managing And Mentoring A Team.
