
Food Service Supervisor
At Aramark, we take great pride in providing quality food service to our customers. We are looking for a Food Service Supervisor to join our team and lead our staff. The ideal candidate will have an unwavering commitment to customer service and a passion for creating a positive environment where our customers can enjoy their meals.The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food service department, including supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a strong work ethic.Required Qualifications:• High school diploma/GED• 3+ years of related food service experience• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documents• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite• ServSafe Certification or other food safety certification is preferred• Must be able to pass Aramark’s background check
Responsibilities of the Food Service Supervisor:
• Provide leadership and direction to the food service staff • Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient and quality food service operations • Monitor staff and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with health and sanitation regulations • Ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the food service operations • Train and coach staff on food service operations and customer service • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty • Prepare and analyze reports to track food service performance and suggest improvements • Monitor budget and control expenses to ensure financial targets are met
