
HR Operations Generalist
Partner with employees and management to communicate various human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations. Interview, screen and recruit job applicants to fill entry-level, professional and technical job openings. Conduct new-hire orientation. Respond to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, etc. Represent the company for any unemployment claims. Facilitate training (including orientation) to the site workforce. Coordinate and maintain employee recognition programs. Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
3+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist within a manufacturing environment for a large, matrixed organization
Prior experience conducting HR activities in a union facility
Resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
Understanding of employment law and other government compliance regulations (i.e. FLSA, FMLA, etc.)
