Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Industry Standard Software: The Candidate Should Be Highly Skilled In Using Industry Standard Software Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Autocad, And Solidworks To Create Accurate And Detailed Technical Illustrations.

  • Knowledge Of Technical Drawing: The Candidate Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Technical Drawing Principles, Including Perspective, Scale, And Dimensioning. This Will Enable Them To Accurately Interpret And Create Technical Illustrations From Complex Engineering Drawings And Schematics.

  • Experience In Semiconductor Industry: Applied Materials Is A Leading Provider Of Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment And Services. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In The Semiconductor Industry And A Good Understanding Of Its Processes And Technologies.

  • Attention To Detail: A Technical Illustrator At Applied Materials Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Produce High-Quality Illustrations With Precision And Accuracy. They Should Also Have The Ability To Review And Edit Their Work To Ensure It Meets The Company's Standards.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Technical Illustrators Collaborate With Engineers, Designers, And Other Stakeholders To Create Illustrations That Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role.
