Job Description

At Applied Materials, we are looking for a Product Quality and Reliability Engineer who can lead our quality assurance efforts and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Our ideal candidate must have a strong technical background and commitment to excellence.The Product Quality and Reliability Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing quality and reliability standards for existing and new products. They must have a clear understanding of customer expectations and the ability to drive the product design and development process to deliver superior products to our customers.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Prior experience in product quality assurance and reliability engineering is preferred, as well as the ability to create and interpret complex technical documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality and reliability standards for existing and new products.
  2. Understand customer expectations and drive the product design and development process accordingly.
  3. Create and interpret complex technical documents.
  4. Utilize problem-solving and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  5. Monitor the product quality and reliability assurance process.
  6. Ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  7. Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
  8. Maintain records of product quality and reliability assurance activities.
  9. Analyze data and report results to management.
  10. Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.
