- Develop and implement trade compliance due diligence procedures and processes for global operations.
- Oversee and manage the trade compliance due diligence team, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant global regulations and guidelines, including but not limited to export controls, sanctions, and customs requirements.
- Review and analyze potential transactions and business partners to identify potential compliance risks.
- Conduct thorough investigations and risk assessments to ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide compliance guidance and support for business activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and industry organizations.
- Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and communicate any necessary updates to the company.
- Develop and conduct training programs to educate employees on trade compliance policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation to regulatory agencies as required.
- Continuously assess and improve the trade compliance due diligence process to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Communicate and escalate any potential compliance issues to senior management and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all trade compliance due diligence activities.
- Ensure all trade compliance due diligence activities are completed within established timelines and deadlines.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and promote a culture of ethics and compliance within the organization.
Knowledge Of Trade Compliance Regulations: A Manager, Trade Compliance Due Diligence Should Have A Strong Understanding Of International Trade Regulations, Including But Not Limited To Export Controls, Sanctions, And Customs Laws.
Experience In Conducting Due Diligence: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Conducting Due Diligence For Trade Compliance, Including Assessing Potential Risks And Identifying Gaps In Compliance Processes.
Strong Analytical Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Information To Identify Potential Compliance Risks And Develop Effective Strategies For Mitigating Them.
Attention To Detail: Trade Compliance Is A Highly Regulated And Detail-Oriented Field, And A Manager In This Role Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure All Processes And Procedures Are In Line With Applicable Regulations.
