  1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day logistics operations for Applied Materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials and products to our customers worldwide.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and sales, to develop and implement strategies for optimizing logistics processes and improving overall supply chain efficiency.
  3. Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Develop and implement solutions to address these areas and drive continuous improvement.
  4. Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations and customs requirements. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and make necessary adjustments to logistics processes and procedures.
  5. Manage and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers. Negotiate contracts and rates to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation services.
  6. Plan and coordinate shipments, including scheduling, routing, and tracking. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation and records related to logistics operations, including shipment details, customs clearance documents, and inventory reports.
  8. Train and mentor team members on logistics processes and procedures. Ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  9. Monitor inventory levels and work closely with procurement and demand planning teams to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  11. Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in logistics technology. Make recommendations for implementing new tools and systems to improve logistics processes.
  12. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
  13. Represent Applied Materials in a professional manner when interacting with customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
  14. Adhere to strict deadlines and deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  15. Uphold the values and mission of Applied Materials, promoting a positive and collaborative work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Logistics Operations, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Technology Industry.

  • Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Optimize Supply Chain Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
