- Design and develop innovative training programs for the Engineering & Technology teams at Applied Materials.
- Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and effective training materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create learning objectives.
- Conduct needs assessments to determine the most effective training approach for different learning styles and levels.
- Create and maintain training materials including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and e-learning modules.
- Incorporate multimedia elements such as videos, simulations, and interactive activities into training materials.
- Continuously evaluate and update training programs to ensure they are meeting the needs of the employees and the company.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in instructional design and technology to enhance training programs.
- Work closely with the Engineering & Technology teams to gather feedback and make improvements to training materials.
- Partner with the training delivery team to ensure smooth implementation of training programs.
- Analyze training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and systems related to training and development.
- Proactively identify and address any training gaps or challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment in training materials and messaging.
- Act as a subject matter expert for instructional design and adult learning principles within the company.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Instructional Design, Education, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Instructional Design, Preferably In The Engineering Or Technology Industry.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Engineering And Technology Concepts And Principles.
Experience Designing And Developing Engaging And Interactive Learning Experiences, Including E-Learning Modules, Simulations, And Virtual Reality Experiences.
Proficiency In Instructional Design Software And Tools, Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, And Camtasia, As Well As Familiarity With Learning Management Systems.
