
Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager

- Develop and implement company-wide environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable practices and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze EHS data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and obtain necessary permits and certifications.
- Investigate and report on workplace accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices to continually improve EHS programs.
- Manage EHS budget and resources to ensure cost-effective implementation of programs.
- Communicate with employees, management, and stakeholders about EHS initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare for potential emergencies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate potential hazards.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure they adhere to company EHS standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS compliance and incidents.
- Lead and mentor a team of EHS professionals to drive a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Ehs Management Role, Preferably In The Manufacturing Industry.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Pertaining To Environmental, Health And Safety.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills With The Ability To Effectively Train And Motivate Employees.
Professional Certification Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (Chmm) Is Preferred.
