As part of our Hardware Technology group, you will have the opportunity to work on the latest and most advanced System-on-Chip (SoC) designs for our flagship products. This role requires a deep understanding of power management and architecture, as well as a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible. - Conduct research and analysis to understand the latest advancements in power management and architecture for SoC designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop power modeling methodologies for SoC designs.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive power models for various SoC components.
- Conduct power simulations and analysis to validate and optimize power consumption in SoC designs.
- Identify potential power optimization opportunities and propose solutions to improve overall power efficiency.
- Work closely with SoC design and verification teams to ensure power model accuracy and consistency throughout the design process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in power management and provide recommendations for adoption in our SoC designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide insights and recommendations to improve power efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues related to power consumption in SoC designs.
- Document power modeling methodologies and results for future reference and use in future projects.
- Continuously improve and optimize power modeling processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on power modeling progress and issues.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality results within the given deadlines.
- Proactively identify and propose solutions for any potential roadblocks or challenges in the power modeling process.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their skills in SoC power modeling.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Power Modeling And Analysis For Complex Soc Designs.
Proficiency In Industry-Standard Power Modeling And Simulation Tools Such As Synopsys Primepower, Ansys Powerartist, Or Cadence Joules.
Strong Understanding Of Power Management Techniques And Low-Power Design Methodologies.
Familiarity With Arm Architecture And Experience With Developing Power Models For Arm-Based Designs.
