
Live Sports Programmer
As our Live Sports Programmer, you will be responsible for maintaining a thoughtful, dynamic, and always relevant editorial voice for sports programming on Apple TV+, including Friday Night Baseball and MLS. The Live Sports Programmer collaborates cross-functionally with our internal teams – engineering, marketing, operations, analytics, production, design – to continually evolve Apple’s live sports product. Our goal is to exceed both Apple’s standards and the needs of passionate sports fans worldwide. Responsibilities include driving editorial feature content for both individual sporting games and large multi-week sporting events, constantly improving our sporting event push notification strategy, and working across internal groups to improve tools and processes around sports programming.
5-8 years of experience in an editorial programming capacity focused on live sports.
Knowledge of the broader television business, from content creation to distribution
Experience defining and developing digital tools and processes.
Flexibility to work nights and/or weekends, as the live sports schedule requires.
