- Conduct simulations and analysis of RAN and core network protocols to ensure optimal performance and reliability for Apple's cellular products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and incorporate them into simulation models.
- Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cellular technology to inform simulation methodology and drive innovation.
- Identify and troubleshoot potential issues in RAN and core network protocols, and propose solutions to improve performance.
- Develop and maintain simulation tools and processes to support efficient and accurate testing of cellular protocols.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate simulation results into product design and development.
- Conduct validation tests to verify simulation results and ensure they align with real-world performance.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of cellular protocol standards and specifications.
- Participate in team meetings and provide technical expertise and insights to help guide decision-making processes.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Cellular Protocol Simulation For Ran And Core Networks.
Strong Knowledge Of 3Gpp Standards, Including Lte, 5G, And Nr Protocols.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C, C++, Python, Or Java.
Experience With Simulation Tools Such As Ns-3, Omnet++, Or Matlab For Network Performance Analysis And Optimization.
