Job Description

At Ann Taylor, our Store Managers are the face of our brand. We are looking for a confident leader who is driven and passionate about helping our customers look and feel their best. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success leading teams, driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. The Store Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching an exceptional team of associates, as well as driving sales and visual merchandising standards. They will create a culture of inclusiveness, diversity, and customer service excellence.To be successful, the Store Manager must have: • Minimum of 2+ years of retail management experience• Proven track record of driving sales• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Demonstrated ability to build, train and manage a team• Strategic planning and problem-solving skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Passion for developing and fostering customer relationships• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruit, train, and coach store associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
  2. Drive sales and visual merchandising standards.
  3. Create a culture of inclusiveness, diversity, and customer service excellence.
  4. Monitor team performance and provide feedback and guidance to ensure that goals are met.
  5. Prepare and analyze sales reports and other financial data to track performance and identify areas of improvement.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  7. Establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
  8. Ensure store policies and procedures are followed.
  9. Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability.
  10. Address customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
