Stock Associate

Responsibilities: • Receive and unpack merchandise shipments • Inspect and sort merchandise according to company guidelines • Place merchandise on shelves and racks according to size, type, and style • Maintain effective communication with customers, team members, and management • Issue receipts, refunds, and other transaction documents • Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions • Organize back-room stock and maintain organized and clean stockroom • Assist customers with locating items and provide product knowledge • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. • Stand for long periods of time • Comply with all safety and security procedures
