Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Lead to join our team at Ann Taylor. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, an enthusiasm for fashion, and a passion for building relationships with our customers. They must be able to work well on a team and be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed. As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for assisting the store leadership team in meeting the sales objectives of the store, providing exceptional customer service, and coaching and motivating the store team to achieve sales goals. In addition to the required qualifications listed below, a successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to think on their feet. If you are excited at the prospect of joining our team, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter.Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of retail sales experience • Proven track record of driving sales • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of POS systems • Ability to lift and move boxes of up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities:

  1. Meet and exceed the sales objectives of the store.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service.
  3. Coach and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals.
  4. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  5. Utilize POS systems to process sales transactions.
  6. Maintain a positive attitude and be able to think on their feet.
  7. Ensure store is properly stocked and merchandised.
  8. Assist with training new team members.
  9. Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  10. Lift and move boxes of up to 40 lbs.
