Job Description

At Ann Taylor, we are looking for an innovative and experienced Assistant Technical Designer to join our team and help us create unique and fashionable apparel. As an Assistant Technical Designer, you will be responsible for developing and executing design concepts, engaging in product development, and ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy. The ideal candidate for this position will have an eye for fashion and design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced creative environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute design concepts for apparel.
  2. Manage product development and ensure accuracy and quality of the designs.
  3. Contribute to creative and innovative fashion ideas.
  4. Maintain an eye for fashion and design trends.
  5. Utilize technical skills to create and develop apparel.
  6. Collaborate with team members to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
  7. Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Monitor apparel production and ensure all standards are met.
  9. Provide feedback and guidance to other designers.
  10. Keep up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and industry best practices.
