Job Description

At Analog Devices, we are looking for a highly motivated Power IC Design Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in the semiconductor industry and work on the design of high-performance power integrated circuits for a variety of applications. We are looking for someone who is passionate about IC design and eager to learn and work in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering with coursework in power electronics, circuits, and digital logic. They should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and be able to work independently and in teams. This individual should also have experience with Cadence and MATLAB. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to learn and has a passion for power IC design.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design high-performance power integrated circuits for various applications.
  2. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication skills.
  3. Work independently and in teams in a collaborative environment.
  4. Utilize Cadence and MATLAB to create designs.
  5. Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in power IC design.
  6. Assist with testing and prototyping of power IC designs.
  7. Work with senior design engineers to create specifications and design objectives.
  8. Generate and maintain design documents.
  9. Identify and troubleshoot design issues.
  10. Provide feedback on design and development progress.
