Firmware Software Engineer

Provide technical leadership for engineers throughout software development process and product life cycle, from design to delivery and support of customers. Design software system frameworks and choose components based on system requirements. Develop on target systems that operate on bare-metal or real-time OS-based framework, on an ARM or other embedded processors. Specify process and tools for efficient development and delivery of software. Deliver quality Software following coding standards with very good documentation. Work in a broad, cross-functional team with IC/System Designers, FPGA Designers, Applications Engineers, and other software team members. Lead definition, build system prototypes and/or technology demonstrators to explore new technology or architecture ideas. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements. Collaborate with Software leads, QA, IC Engineering and the rest of the System and Applications Group to engage with customers to understand, define and document customer software requirements and work with our partners to further enhance our offerings in platform solutions
