  1. Set up wire forming machines according to specifications provided by engineering team.
  2. Verify accuracy of machine settings and make adjustments as needed.
  3. Monitor production process to ensure quality and efficiency.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the setup process.
  5. Maintain and organize tools and equipment necessary for wire forming setup.
  6. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize setup processes.
  7. Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of wire forming machines.
  8. Train and mentor new team members on wire forming setup procedures.
  9. Continuously review and improve setup processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  10. Comply with all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  11. Keep detailed records of setups and any adjustments made.
  12. Communicate any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  14. Participate in team meetings and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  15. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in wire forming technology.
  16. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing AMETEK.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Wire Forming: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Setting Up And Operating Wire Forming Machines.

  • Knowledge Of Machine Tools And Equipment: A Strong Understanding Of Various Machine Tools And Equipment Used In Wire Forming Is Essential For This Role, Including Press Brakes, Punches, And Stamping Machines.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Wire Form Setup Technician, Attention To Detail Is Critical To Ensure The Proper Setup And Operation Of Machines. This Includes The Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Specifications Accurately.

  • Mechanical Aptitude: The Ability To Troubleshoot And Identify Mechanical Issues Is Important For This Role. A Strong Mechanical Aptitude And Ability To Use Hand And Power Tools Are Necessary To Perform Routine Maintenance And Repairs On Machines.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential For Success In This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment And Communicate Effectively With Other Team Members And Supervisors. They Should Also Be Able To Follow Written And Verbal Instructions Accurately.
