- Perform regular maintenance and inspection on vacuum brazing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and develop solutions to keep production running smoothly.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and increase efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with production teams to understand their needs and provide timely support to maintain production schedules.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in vacuum brazing technology to suggest and implement process improvements.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians on equipment maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Materials Engineering: A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles Is Essential For A Vacuum Braze Maintenance Engineer To Understand The Complex Processes And Equipment Involved In The Vacuum Brazing Process.
Experience In Vacuum Brazing And Heat Treating: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Vacuum Brazing And Heat Treating Operations Is Required For This Position. This Experience Should Include Hands-On Experience With Vacuum Furnaces And Associated Equipment.
Knowledge Of Metallurgy And Materials Science: A Deep Understanding Of Metallurgy And Materials Science Is Necessary For A Vacuum Braze Maintenance Engineer To Make Informed Decisions About The Selection Of Materials And Brazing Techniques.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: Vacuum Brazing Equipment Is Complex And Requires Regular Maintenance And Troubleshooting. A Qualified Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Quickly Identify And Resolve Problems.
