
Senior Inventory Clerk

- Maintain inventory accuracy: Regularly conduct inventory counts and audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory levels and identify any discrepancies.
- Manage inventory levels: Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Organize and track inventory: Implement and maintain an efficient system for organizing and tracking inventory, including labeling and categorizing items.
- Receive and process orders: Receive incoming shipments and process them in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor inventory movement: Keep track of inventory movement, including stock transfers, returns, and disposals.
- Coordinate with other departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate inventory records and to coordinate stock movement for production, sales, and other purposes.
- Maintain inventory records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including item descriptions, quantities, locations, and other relevant information.
- Identify and report errors or issues: Identify and report any inventory errors or issues to management, and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Train and supervise staff: Train and supervise junior inventory clerks, ensuring that they understand and follow inventory management procedures.
- Continuously improve processes: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Adhere to safety protocols: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when handling inventory, including hazardous materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management to ensure our processes are up-to-date and effective.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Inventory Management Or Related Field.
Proficient In Using Inventory Management Software And Systems, Preferably With Ametek-Specific Experience.
Proven Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks Efficiently.
