Project Engineer
Provide product, process and application engineering analysis and support to customers and manufacturing plants for division products. Apply engineering principles and analysis to the resolution of technical problems; perform development, design and analysis of new products; provide design validation testing for all new products. Review, interpret and act on customer provided specifications and drawings and convert into divisional format; establish dimensional, mechanical and electrical performance criteria and parameters. Establish and modify test limits and methods that adequately ensure product performance compliance. Support marketing and field sales colleagues by providing and coordinating requests for quotes, application and design assistance and customer visits. Evaluate and recommend component parts, materials and processes as related to improved product performance, quality and profitability.
Four years related experience and/or training
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies.
Ability to effectively present information to management and customers.
