
Manager, Project Management (PMO)
At AMETEK, we are looking for an experienced and organized Manager, Project Management (PMO) to join our team and help us drive our projects and initiatives to completion. The ideal candidate for this role will have a track record of successfully leading projects, a deep understanding of project management principles, and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for someone who can think strategically and bring an innovative approach to the PMO team.The Manager, Project Management (PMO) will be responsible for the overall performance of project management activities and processes. This includes planning, managing, and executing projects from initiation to closure. The successful candidate for this role must have a bachelor's degree in project management, business, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience managing projects in a corporate setting. Responsibilities of the Manager, Project Management (PMO):
• Plan, manage, and execute projects from initiation to closure. • Develop project scope, objectives, and timelines. • Monitor and adjust project plans and resources to ensure successful completion of projects. • Manage project risks and ensure that any issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner. • Track project progress and provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders. • Develop and maintain project management processes and procedures. • Implement project management software, such as Microsoft Project, to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Analyze project data and create reports to track project performance. • Identify opportunities for improvement in project management processes and suggest ways to optimize them. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. • Provide guidance and support to project team members. • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on project management topics.
