Industrial Painter - 2nd Shift

- Perform high-quality painting tasks on a variety of industrial equipment and components.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and specifications.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Properly mix and apply paints, primers, and coatings according to job requirements.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, pumps, and filters.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues with painting equipment or materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as sanding, cleaning, and masking.
- Continuously improve painting techniques and processes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Adhere to production schedules and meet deadlines.
- Train and mentor new team members as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

Previous Experience In Industrial Painting: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As An Industrial Painter. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Different Painting Techniques And Equipment, As Well As The Ability To Mix Paints And Match Colors Accurately.
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: Working In An Industrial Setting Requires Strict Adherence To Safety Protocols. A Qualified Industrial Painter Should Be Well-Versed In Safety Procedures And Regulations, Including The Use Of Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe) And The Handling Of Hazardous Materials.
Familiarity With Industrial Paint Systems: Ametek May Use Specific Paint Systems For Their Products, And A Qualified Candidate Should Have Experience Working With These Systems. This Includes Knowledge Of Surface Preparation, Paint Application, And Curing Processes.
Attention To Detail: A Successful Industrial Painter Needs To Have A Keen Eye For Detail And A Commitment To Producing High-Quality Work. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Correct Imperfections In The Painting Process And Ensure A Flawless Finish On Each Product.
Ability To Work Independently And In A Team: As Part Of The 2Nd Shift, The Industrial Painter May Be Required To Work Independently For Extended Periods. However, They Should Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members To Ensure Efficient And Timely Completion Of Projects. Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
