  1. Install, maintain, and repair avionics and heater systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Avionics Systems: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Avionics Systems And Their Components, Including Wiring, Connectors, And Communication Protocols. This Knowledge Is Essential For Troubleshooting And Repairing Avionics Equipment.

  • Experience With Heater Systems: Ametek Specializes In The Design And Manufacture Of Aircraft Heater Systems, So Experience Working With These Systems Is A Must For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Heater Components And Their Functions, As Well As Experience With Installation And Maintenance.

  • Electrical Troubleshooting Skills: As An Electrical Fitter, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Electrical Issues. This Requires Strong Troubleshooting Skills And The Ability To Read And Interpret Electrical Schematics And Diagrams.

  • Technical Training Or Certification: A Qualification In Electrical Engineering, Avionics Technology, Or A Related Field Is Highly Desirable For This Position. Candidates With Relevant Technical Training Or Certification Will Have A Better Understanding Of Aircraft Electrical Systems And Will Be Better Equipped To Perform The Job Duties.
