Job Description

Welcome to AMETEK! As a global leader in electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, we are seeking a highly experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Division Vice President of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across our division, ensuring operational excellence and driving business growth. We are looking for a strategic leader with a strong track record of successfully implementing lean methodologies and driving operational efficiencies.   1. Develop and implement a division-wide continuous improvement strategy to drive operational excellence and business growth.
  2. Lead and manage a team of operational excellence professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
  3. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the division, and work with cross-functional teams to implement these initiatives.
  4. Collaborate with senior leadership to establish key performance metrics and track progress towards operational excellence goals.
  5. Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  6. Provide training and mentorship to division employees on lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  7. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the division, encouraging employees to identify and implement process improvements.
  8. Monitor industry trends and best practices in operational excellence and continuous improvement, and make recommendations for incorporating them into division processes.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and external partners, to drive successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
  10. Prepare and present progress reports to senior leadership, highlighting the impact of continuous improvement initiatives on the division's performance and bottom line.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Operational Excellence And Continuous Improvement Roles, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Lean, Six Sigma, Or Other Process Improvement Methodologies.

  • Strong Leadership Skills, With Experience In Managing And Developing High-Performing Teams.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Influence At All Levels Of The Organization.
