Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Operating And Programming Cnc Machines: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Able To Operate Various Types Of Cnc Machines, Including Lathes, Mills, And Routers. They Should Also Have Experience In Programming These Machines To Produce Precise And Accurate Parts.

  • Knowledge Of G-Code And Cam Software: A Cnc Operator At Ametek Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of G-Code And Be Able To Read And Interpret Complex Blueprints And Technical Drawings. They Should Also Have Experience Using Computer-Aided Manufacturing (Cam) Software To Create And Modify Cnc Programs.

  • Experience With Quality Control And Inspection Procedures: As A Cnc Operator At Ametek, The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Perform Quality Control Checks On Finished Parts. They Should Also Have Experience With Various Inspection Tools And Be Able To Make Necessary Adjustments To Maintain Quality Standards.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Cnc Machines Can Encounter Various Technical Issues, And The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Troubleshoot And Resolve These Problems Efficiently. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Machine Mechanics And Know How To Make Necessary Adjustments To Ensure Smooth Operations.

  • Safety-Conscious: Working With Cnc Machines Can Be Dangerous, And The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures. They Should Also Be Able To Identify Potential Hazards And Take Necessary Precautions To Ensure A Safe Working Environment. Previous Experience With Osha Regulations And Safety Training Is Preferred.
