- Oversee and manage the daily operations of a production cell to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality products to customers.
- Lead a team of production workers, providing direction, support, and feedback to ensure maximum productivity and quality output.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by team members to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and supply chain, to resolve any issues and ensure timely completion of production tasks.
- Train and mentor new team members to ensure they have a thorough understanding of production processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members to promote their professional growth and development.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that equipment and machinery are properly maintained and functioning at their highest capacity.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the supply chain team to ensure the availability of necessary materials for production.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices to optimize production processes and increase efficiency.
Prior Experience In A Leadership Role: A Cell Lead At Ametek Should Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, Whether It Be In A Manufacturing Setting Or In A Different Industry. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Individual's Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Make Important Decisions.
Strong Communication Skills: Communication Is A Key Aspect Of Being A Successful Cell Lead. Candidates For This Position Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Management, And Other Departments Within The Company.
Technical Knowledge And Expertise: Ametek Is A Manufacturing Company, So It Is Important For A Cell Lead To Have A Strong Technical Background And Understanding Of The Products Being Produced. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Troubleshoot Issues And Provide Guidance To Their Team.
