- Conduct and oversee advanced testing and analysis of blood products to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain quality and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate and prioritize testing needs.
- Review and interpret test results, troubleshoot any issues, and report findings accurately and promptly.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed.
- Participate in continuous learning and training to stay updated on new techniques and technology in the field of immunohematology.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

- Assist with the development and implementation of new testing methods and procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any malfunctions.
- Follow all confidentiality protocols to protect sensitive patient information.
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with established protocols.

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Immunohematology Or Blood Banking
Certification As A Medical Technologist (Mt) Or Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) By A Recognized Certifying Agency
Proficient In Performing Complex Laboratory Procedures And Interpreting Results
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Quality Control Processes In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
