- Develop and implement strategies to monitor and observe the performance of our technology systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to ensure the highest level of technical expertise and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and implement solutions to optimize system performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in monitoring and observability, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain documentation and processes related to monitoring and observability, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Work closely with other teams to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support.
- Proactively identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct regular performance audits and provide reports to management on system performance and improvement opportunities.
- Act as a technical leader and advocate for the importance of monitoring and observability in supporting the organization's humanitarian mission.
Extensive Experience In Designing And Implementing Monitoring And Observability Solutions In A Large-Scale, Complex Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Monitoring And Observability Tools, Such As Prometheus, Grafana, And Elk Stack.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Cloud Computing Platforms, Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud, And Their Monitoring Capabilities.
Proven Track Record Of Building And Leading A Team To Develop And Maintain Monitoring And Observability Systems.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Leadership To Drive Continuous Improvement In Monitoring And Observability Practices.
