
Senior Project Manager

- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets in alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout all stages of the project.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication, creativity, and innovation.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and stakeholder presentations.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Conduct regular project evaluations to assess outcomes and make recommendations for future improvements.
- Manage project resources, including staff, volunteers, and external partners, to ensure timely and high-quality project deliverables.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and community members.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve project management processes and procedures.
- Represent the organization and advocate for our mission to external audiences, including at conferences and events.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in project management and disaster relief to inform project strategies and approaches.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and other team members as needed.
- Embody the values of the American Red Cross and serve as a positive role model for others.
Bachelor's Degree In Project Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Projects With Multiple Stakeholders And Tight Deadlines.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In A Non-Profit Or Humanitarian Organization.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team.
Knowledge Of And Experience With Project Management Software And Tools, Such As Microsoft Project Or Asana.
