Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
  2. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  3. Monitor project progress and identify and address any issues or roadblocks that may impact the successful completion of the project.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and volunteers.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals align with the overall mission and strategy of the American Red Cross.
  6. Effectively communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  7. Develop and implement project management processes and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Manage project budgets, including tracking and reporting on expenses, and making adjustments as needed.
  9. Lead project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes and action items.
  10. Provide mentorship and guidance to project team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  11. Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes as necessary.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, project management methodologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into project management processes.
  13. Represent the American Red Cross at conferences, events, and other public forums to promote the organization's work and achievements.
  14. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, as well as ethical and professional standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 8 Years Experience In Project Management, With At Least 3 Years In A Senior Project Management Role.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing Cross-Functional Teams And Complex Projects.

  • Proficiency In Project Management Methodologies Such As Agile, Scrum, Or Waterfall.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Stakeholders At All Levels.

  • Experience In The Non-Profit Sector, Specifically With Disaster Relief And Humanitarian Aid Projects, Is Preferred.
