SAF-IS Regional Program Specialist - Mobile

- Develop and implement disaster preparedness and response programs utilizing mobile technology.
- Collaborate with regional team members to identify and assess community needs.
- Facilitate trainings and workshops on disaster preparedness and response using mobile technology.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide technical assistance and support to local Red Cross chapters in utilizing mobile technology for disaster response.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in mobile technology and their potential applications in disaster response.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations and stakeholders to enhance program impact.
- Assist in budget planning and management for mobile technology-related programs.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate program progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Participate in disaster response efforts as needed.
- Adhere to all American Red Cross policies and procedures.
- Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Act as a representative of the American Red Cross and promote our mission and values.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by the Regional Program Manager.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As International Relations, Public Health, Or Disaster Management.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Humanitarian Aid, Emergency Response, Or International Development.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Disaster Risk Reduction, Emergency Preparedness And Response, And Community Resilience.
Demonstrated Experience In Project Management, Including Budgeting, Monitoring, And Reporting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders And Manage Relationships With Government Agencies, Ngos, And Community Leaders.
