
SAF-IS Regional Program Specialist Mobile

- Develop and implement strategies for the successful operation of the SAF-IS mobile services program.
- Coordinate with local Red Cross chapters to ensure efficient and effective deployment of mobile services during disasters.
- Train and support volunteers and staff in mobile services operations and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the mobile services program, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of all mobile services activities and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments and organizations to enhance the reach and impact of the mobile services program.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in disaster response and recovery to continuously improve the program.
- Ensure compliance with all Red Cross policies, procedures, and regulations in the operation of the mobile services program.
- Represent the Red Cross and the mobile services program at community events, conferences, and meetings.
- Provide support and guidance to volunteers and staff during emergency response operations.
- Work closely with local government agencies and community leaders to establish partnerships and strengthen the mobile services program.
- Participate in fundraising efforts to support the sustainability of the mobile services program.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the American Red Cross and its mission.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As International Relations, Disaster Management, Or Public Health.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working In International Humanitarian Aid, Preferably In Disaster Response And Recovery.
Strong Understanding Of The Saf-Is (Services To Armed Forces-International Services) Program And Its Goals And Objectives.
Experience In Program Management, Including Budgeting, Monitoring And Evaluation, And Reporting.
Excellent Communication Skills, Including Fluency In English And Proficiency In At Least One Other Language Commonly Used In The Assigned Region.
