
SAF- IS Regional Program Specialist Mobile

We are seeking a Regional Program Specialist Mobile for our Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) department. As a Regional Program Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our programs and services for military members, veterans, and their families. - Develop and implement strategies to effectively reach and serve military members, veterans, and their families in the specified region.
- Collaborate with local Red Cross chapters and other organizations to ensure the delivery of quality services and resources to the military community.
- Provide support and guidance to SAF department staff and volunteers in the region, including training, supervision, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on policies, procedures, and regulations related to military and veteran services.
- Communicate regularly with regional and national leadership to report on program activities, successes, and challenges.
- Plan and coordinate special events and initiatives to raise awareness and support for military and veteran programs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of program activities, expenses, and outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison between the Red Cross and military installations in the region, building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Participate in fundraising and donor cultivation activities to support SAF programs and services.
- Act as an advocate for military members, veterans, and their families within the Red Cross and the wider community.
- Adhere to all American Red Cross policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends and best practices in military and veteran support services.
- Travel within the region to attend meetings, events, and trainings as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the SAF Regional Director or other appropriate leadership.
Bachelor's Degree In International Relations, Development Studies, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working In Humanitarian Assistance Or International Development, With A Focus On Program Management In The Field.
Strong Knowledge Of And Experience With Project Management, Budgeting, And Grant Reporting.
Demonstrated Experience Working With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, Ngos, And Community-Based Organizations.
Ability To Travel Frequently And Work In Challenging Environments, Often For Extended Periods Of Time.
