- Conduct quarantine and labeling procedures on blood donations in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of labeling and documentation for all blood donations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of labeling and quarantine supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow proper safety and infection control procedures at all times.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with donations to superiors in a timely manner.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new quarantine and labeling technicians.

- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of donor and donation information.
- Provide exceptional customer service to blood donors and other team members.

Knowledge Of Quarantine And Labeling Procedures: The Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Quarantine And Labeling Protocols Set By The American Red Cross, Including Proper Handling And Storage Of Biological Specimens.
Experience In Laboratory Settings: Prior Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Medical Or Healthcare Environment, Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Laboratory Equipment And Procedures, As Well As Safety Protocols.
Attention To Detail: As A Quarantine And Labeling Technician, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Accurately Labeling And Tracking Biological Specimens. Therefore, They Must Possess Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure The Integrity Of The Samples And Data.
Strong Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Supervisors, And Other Departments Within The Organization.
