  1. Perform quality control testing on blood products to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology Or Related Field: A Qc Laboratory Technologist At American Red Cross Must Have A Strong Educational Foundation In Medical Technology Or A Related Field To Perform Laboratory Tests And Procedures Accurately And Efficiently.

  • Certification From A Recognized Organization: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Certification From A Recognized Organization Such As Ascp Or Amt To Demonstrate Their Knowledge And Proficiency In Laboratory Techniques And Procedures.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Relevant Laboratory Experience: To Be Considered For This Role, Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Quality Control Role.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines: The Qc Laboratory Technologist Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Guidelines, Including Fda, Clia, And Aabb, To Ensure Compliance With All Quality Standards And Protocols.

  • Strong Attention To Detail: Given The Critical Nature Of This Role, Candidates Must Have Exceptional Attention To Detail And The Ability To Follow Strict Procedures And Protocols To Ensure Accurate And Reliable Test Results.
