  4. Complete and maintain accurate documentation of all laboratory procedures and results.

  6. Continuously evaluate and improve laboratory processes to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
  8. Train and mentor new laboratory technologists to ensure consistent and high-quality work.
  9. Communicate effectively with other team members and healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
  10. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the American Red Cross and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt) From A Recognized Organization (Such As Ascp Or Amt)

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Quality Control Laboratory, Preferably In A Blood Banking Or Transfusion Service Setting

  • Knowledge Of Fda Regulations, Clia Standards, And Aabb Standards For Blood Banking And Transfusion Services

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Attention To Detail And Accuracy In Performing Laboratory Tests And Interpreting Results.
