  11. Collect and maintain data on program activities and outcomes for reporting purposes.
  12. Represent the organization at community events and meetings to promote disaster relief programs and services.
  13. Collaborate with fundraising team to secure necessary resources for program operations.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when working with individuals and families affected by disasters.
  15. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while participating in disaster response activities.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Disaster Response And Emergency Management: A Program Specialist, Disaster Services Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Disaster Response Principles And Procedures, As Well As Experience In Coordinating Emergency Services.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires Effective Communication With Team Members, Volunteers, And External Stakeholders. The Ability To Build Relationships And Work Collaboratively Is Essential For Success.
