Logistics Specialist
- Implement strategies, initiatives, processes and procedures that support the successful region wide day-to-day and major relief operation provision of mass care and logistics services.
- Within scope of position, represents the entire disaster cycle of preparedness, response and recovery.
- Ensures American Red Cross services are available to diverse communities.
- Communicates and implements Mass Care and Logistics priorities, goals and objectives.
- Responsible for designing and supporting consistent service delivery strategies throughout the region as well as supporting field teams implementation of strategies and plans.
- Manage disaster regional storage.
Experience in providing leadership to staff and volunteer activities
Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience with social services or service/program delivery
Familiarity with Federal and State employment laws
