  1. Develop and maintain the American Red Cross' data warehouse infrastructure.
  2. Utilize technical expertise to support the organization's mission of providing emergency assistance, disaster relief, and education.
  3. Lead a team of data warehouse engineers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data to key stakeholders.
  4. Design and implement data integration processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
  5. Collaborate with various departments to identify data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  6. Monitor and troubleshoot data warehouse performance to ensure optimal functionality.
  7. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in data warehousing technology.
  8. Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation of data warehouse processes and procedures.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data warehouse operations.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
  12. Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
  13. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making related to data warehouse initiatives.
  14. Maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to support data warehouse operations.
  15. Continuously analyze and evaluate data warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Data Warehousing: The Ideal Candidate For A Lead Data Warehouse Engineer At American Red Cross Should Possess A Strong Background In Data Warehousing, Including Designing, Developing, And Maintaining Data Warehouse Solutions.

  • Proficiency In Etl Tools And Technologies: The Role Of A Lead Data Warehouse Engineer At American Red Cross Involves Working With Large Volumes Of Data, Which Requires Proficiency In Extract, Transform, And Load (Etl) Tools And Technologies Such As Informatica, Talend, Or Datastage.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Database Management Systems: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Database Management Systems (Dbms) Such As Sql Server, Oracle, Or Mysql. They Should Be Able To Write Complex Sql Queries, Optimize Database Performance, And Troubleshoot Database-Related Issues.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Lead, The Candidate Should Have Project Management Skills To Oversee The Entire Data Warehouse Development Process And Ensure Timely Delivery. This Includes Creating Project Plans, Allocating Resources, And Managing Project Risks.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Abilities: The Lead Data Warehouse Engineer Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Data Warehouse Developers And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams.
