
Inventory Management Coordinator

- Oversee all aspects of inventory management for disaster response and blood collection efforts.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory control procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with various departments to forecast inventory needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identify and address any inventory discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with procurement team to ensure timely delivery of necessary supplies.
- Train and supervise staff on inventory management processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding inventory status and needs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in inventory management.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations related to inventory storage and handling.
- Support the disaster response and blood collection efforts through efficient inventory management.
- Serve as a point of contact for any inventory-related questions or concerns.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with team members and stakeholders.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Meet all deadlines and targets related to inventory management.
- Represent the American Red Cross in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Inventory Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Nonprofit Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Inventory Control Procedures And Best Practices.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.
Proficiency In Inventory Management Software And Microsoft Excel.
