
Facilities Specialist

- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all American Red Cross facilities, including offices, warehouses, and event spaces.
- Ensure that all facilities are safe and meet all necessary safety standards, including fire codes and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any facility-related issues or concerns.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance plan to ensure the longevity of all facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
- Manage and oversee any necessary repairs or renovations to facilities.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility-related projects and services.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Manage facility-related budgets and expenses.
- Train and supervise facility maintenance staff and volunteers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in facilities management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and codes.
- Communicate regularly with management and other departments to provide updates on facility maintenance and safety.
- Act as the point of contact for any facility-related emergencies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve facility operations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Facilities Management.
Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Facility Maintenance Procedures.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With A Strong Attention To Detail.
