
Facilities Specialist

- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all American Red Cross facilities.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely and cost-effective services.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure the well-being of staff and volunteers.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of facility supplies and equipment.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for routine maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential hazards or issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure facilities meet their specific needs.
- Manage facility budgets and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Maintain accurate records of all facility-related expenses and activities.
- Respond to facility-related emergencies and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Communicate with staff and volunteers to address any facility-related concerns.
- Train and supervise facility staff and volunteers as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in facilities management.
- Collaborate with community partners and organizations to support the American Red Cross mission.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment for all staff and volunteers.
Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Engineering, Or Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Facilities Management, Preferably In A Non-Profit Or Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Building Codes, Osha Regulations, And Environmental Health And Safety Standards.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Cross-Functional Teams And External Contractors.
Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, While Adhering To Strict Budgets And Timelines.
