
Facilities Specialist

- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on all facilities to ensure they are functioning properly and meeting safety standards.
- Respond promptly to any facility-related issues or emergencies, and troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs, and create work orders or coordinate with outside vendors as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance and repair activities, including costs and timelines.
- Create and implement facility maintenance schedules to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for improving facility operations and reducing costs.
- Monitor and track inventory levels of facility supplies and equipment, and coordinate purchasing and restocking as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, and take appropriate actions to address any safety hazards.
- Provide regular updates and reports on facility maintenance and operations to management and other stakeholders.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimize facility operations, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Train and supervise other facility maintenance staff members, as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of the American Red Cross.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure all facility-related needs are met.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Serve as a positive and professional representative of the American Red Cross in all interactions with the community and stakeholders.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills To Effectively Coordinate And Manage Multiple Tasks And Projects.
